October 2025: Colleen Li joined the lab as an undergraduate researcher from the Department of Data Science.

October 2025: Yini's research, entitled "LINE1 RNA dysregulation impairs chromatin accessibility in C9ORF72- and TDP-43-linked ALS/FTD" is available as a preprint.

September 2025: Chang Liu joined the lab as a co-mentored PhD student from the Biology Department.

August 2025: Janelle Macler joined the lab as an undergraduate researcher from the Department of Biological Sciences.

June 2025: Yini's co-authored paper is available as a preprint - "Inhibition of nonsense-mediated decay in TDP-43 deficient neurons reveals novel cryptic exons".

May 15th, 2025: Yini got the Showalter Trust Award.​
